The Portland & Washington 02 Tower, is a newly constructed 22-story post-tension building that features 240 units and employs water-sourced heat pumps for efficient climate control. An impressive engineering challenge was the installation of crucial infrastructure: three million BTU boilers, pumps, and an 875 GPM cooling tower had to be hoisted over 300 feet to the 22nd floor before their installation could begin. This meticulous process highlights the project’s advanced design and commitment to cutting-edge building technology.
